According to the Office of National Statistics, the number of job vacancies in the UK has surpassed one million for the first time since records began (ONS). Between June and August, the number of job openings in the construction industry reached an all-time high, with 37,000 positions available. This is a 2,000-unit gain from May to July, which was a new high for the industry at the time. Scaffolders and other sector workers are in high demand across the country, with competent scaffolders in limited supply.
