In the spirit of remaining positive and showcasing our strengths throughout these times, we wanted to put a post together talking about a few areas that went well for us here at JMAC over the past month.
First of all, we updated a number of our HSEQ company accreditations. The reduced workload at the moment has allowed us to find the extra time to be able to do this across the JMAC Group. Some of the accreditations we have updated include; CHAS Premium Plus, Alcumus Safe Contractor, and Simian Risk Management Systems Retainer Certificate. We have also updated our workflow and procedures to make our integrated management system stronger. All of this means once work returns to normal JMAC are in a stronger and safer position going forward.
One particular department which has excelled during this time is Hire & Sales. Although we were obviously affected by the construction industry being put on hold, we still made a number of steps to move forward as a department. We secured 5 brand new, large scale hire projects which are all starting over the coming months. We also identified a need for additional assistance in our team, we’re now recruiting for a Hire & Sales Administrator who can come on board and assist as the company continues to go from strength to strength. Additionally, we used our extra time to research new software for this department, we found one which we think will be a great asset and we’re looking forward to implementing this over the coming weeks.
We have also spent some time working on product development. We have been working closely with our design team to make improvements to current products, and also put plans in place for new products too. It’s been a refreshing change to be able to find the time to take a step back to work on assessing and innovating across our product range.
